Replacing the Lamp & Cleaning
To replace the lamp:

1) Disconnect from power source. Disconnect the lamp connector from the UV system by carefully separating it from the gland nut (use the aid of a slot screwdriver if required).

2) Disconnect lamp connector from lamp and carefully remove the UV lamp.

3) Replace the new lamp being careful not to touch the new UV lamp "glass" with your fingers as oils impair UV transmission. If contact does occur, clean with alcohol and reconnect carefully replacing lamp into stainless steel disinfection chamber.

4) press lamp connector into aluminum gland nut.

5) plug power source into outlet. Verify "POWER-ON" LED is illuminated and ballast audible start-up sequence operates.

Reset when UV Power Source is in Annual Alarm Mode
To reset the UV power source when the red timer LED light is either flashing or fully on, hold down the timer button while connecting the UV power source to the AC supply voltage. Continue holding the button until the UV power source emits a continuous three second beep indicating that the lamp timer has been reset.

Reset when UV Power Source is not in Annual Alarm Mode
It is not possible to reset the timer using the above procedure if the annual lamp change reminder timer has not activated as indicated by either the flashing or solid red timer LeD light. To enable timer reset, operate the UV power source with no lamp connected until it enters the lamp failure state as indicated by the audio alarm beeping and the lamp and timer LED lights shutting off. Disconnect from AC supply voltage, replace the UV lamp and proceed as above.

Verifying Timer Reset
A timer reset can be verified by pressing the timer button once and counting the flashes of the red timer LeD light. The timer LeD will flash once for each month of lamp life remaining. This feature can be used at any time to determine the months of lamp life remaining.
