| This shower filter made such a huge difference with my hair even my husband and kids noticed! My hair doesn't feel weighted down anymore and is definitely healthier. I would recommend this vita fresh shower filter to anyone with hard water either from a well or even city water. |

| Very easy to install and change the filter | |
| Very easy to install and change the filter. Filter didn't last as long as I expected but it did come with 2 replacements. I bought another one for my bath tub, doesn't fit so I need to by an adapter. Over all a really good product and have noticed that my skin is not as dry. Also removed the chlorine smell from our water. |

| Relieved eye allergy | |
I purchased this vita fresh shower filter a month ago because I am allergic to chlorine in municipal water. My eyes would almost swell shut, so I had survived city life by using swim goggles for my am shower and heating distilled water in an electric hot pot for washing my face/removing makeup at night.
The vita fresh has allowed me to ditch the goggles and take normal showers. I do love it and find the price for replacement cartridges a reasonable trade off. I installed it as directed using the pipe tape and have had no problems with leaking. The cartridge has lasted almost a full month, as promised, with two people taking daily showers. I like the clear casing so I can visually check the vitamin c level. If it was prettier, I would put one on my basic faucet and the kitchen so I could avoid all chlorine exposure. |

I have had other brand's carbon filter on my shower for years. Last week, the housing snapped off. I was about to order another when I saw the Vita fresh.
Other brand's carbon filter never really got rid of the chlorine smell. I doubt it's pore size was a good match for chloramine that we in SoCal have in our water. My water testes out at over 500 ppm using a TDS meter. Horrible! But the vita fresh does an admirable job of not ridding the water of the chlorine and chloramine, but making the water feel softer.
I'm a convert to the Vitamin C filters!

| Have been very pleased with this purchased. The cartridge of vita fresh last longer than I expected from reading others reviews. I had mine for about a month and still have a lot of life left in my first cartridge. Makes a world of difference in my skin being dry and itchy, also makes my hair feel smoother. |

I live in a country where the water is heavily chlorinated and has a lot of calcium, what you would call hard water, it's not good for your skin, hair or shower walls. I was visiting my sister in the USA and she had this filter on her shower, my hair was no longer brittle and dull and my skin problems such as Keratosis Pilaris, eczema and dryness were greatly improved.
I can not say enough about this product. I ordered it and installed it my shower at home, it fit well and works wonderfully. Everybody here has crunchy hair except me, and I am not constantly fighting the hard calcium deposits on my shower walls anymore. thank you. |

| Works for free chlorine it seems | |
Works for free chlorine in my shower. I tested the chlorine from my bathroom sink and shower faucet first using chlorine testing strips. It was pretty low to begin with apparently and then I tested the water coming from the shower head and the test showed a clear color meaning levels are undetectable (for this particular device). So, that's great news!!!
I tested it in hot water as some people had concerns saying it wouldn't work in warm/hot water (vitamin c and kdf filters are ineffective in hot water). I took a long shower (1-15 mins) and tested the water again right when I was about to be done and it still showed a clear sign(as opposed to the light blue color from the faucet). So, it seems that it is effective in hot water(not sure about kdf filters though). I don't know how it works for chloramines (common to be used alongside chlorine for disinfectant; its a combination of ammonia and chlorine) because my city doesn't use it in the water( I called and asked as well as looked up the water quality report.)
