NSF or Gold Seal Certification:  Why is it Important?

System Without "GOLD SEAL" or "NSF" Label is Only Second Best
GOLD SEAL
or NSF Label "Must" be On System

Why:
NSF and Gold Seal (WQA) certification is for product meeting or exceeding industry standards for contaminant reduction, structural integrity, and material safety.  It certifies quality, reliability, performance and documentation for the product.   Therefore, you should buy a reverse osmosis that is Gold Seal certified or NSF certified.

Gold Seal (Water Quality Association): For more information go to www.wqa.org
NSF:
NSF is a public health and safety company. For more information go to http://www.nsf.org

Don't Risk Your Family's Drinking Water

You do not want to compromise your drinking water.

There are many systems on the market. How do you know that the material used is safe for drinking water? How do you know whether the system is reliable? How do you know whether the filtering mechanism works as it claims? These are critical questions when dealing with your family’s drinking water. You can rest assure when you buy a system with GOLD SEAL or NSF certification logo on it, you are getting the very best. It is very difficult for water purification systems to be certified because the process is very expensive and the systems need to pass many strict tests by certification organization.

Buyers Beware
1) System must have NSF Logo or Gold Seal Logo.  When the logo is on the system, it means that the ENTIRE system is certified.
This is different from having a logo on an individual part, which means only that part is certified.

2) System needs to be stated "Tested and Certified By NSF".  This means that the entire system is certified by NSF itself or approved testing company.
Whereas, if system is stated as
"Tested and Certified to NSF/ANSI 58".  This means anyone, including yourself, can test the system and claim it to be good to standard.
